Thirdly, upon looking up the lyrics to the mentioned song, I noticed the words were taken out of context here. From the song, it seems as if the guy is just singing to show gratitude towards his princesa with his own “sweet” words. He says “gracias por estar aquí, eres especial,” thanks for being here, thanks for being special. Wow, what a jerk that song-writer! oh wait… Maybe she likes being called “princesa sumisa?” maybe that’s endearing to her. Or did you happen to think that maybe he just picked that word because it rhymes and maybe doesn’t even know what it means except what he heard in a fairy tale a long time ago? Why does the writer of this post have to hate?

Furthermore, the song goes on saying “me plancha la camisa pa’ que la acompañe a la misa con una sonrisa.” Which taken out of context might sound wrong, but in the song it’s the same as if I told my girlfriend “I appreciate you my sweet honey bunny for cooking a wonderful meal that makes me smile,” I get the feeling the writer of this entry would turn that around and call me a machista a-hole for “belittling women and calling them “bunnies” and telling them to get to the kitchen and cook me a meal.”
